I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail in the unique and funky decor. The location was convenient, close to all conveniences, including a nearby pub and Chinese restaurant for dinner. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were well-appointed, with a different decoration in the bathroom and bedroom, and comfortable twin beds. The breakfast included in the rate was a bonus, with delicious homemade jam.
All was fine, no improvements needed.

Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like the quilted teapot that was only 5 minutes' walk away. We enjoyed the fact that we chose Junction Motel.

This hotel is such a hidden gem, with its quirky and eclectic decor that makes it a truly unique stay. Everywhere you turn, there's something interesting to discover and learn about. The owner takes great pride in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making you feel right at home. The location is also perfect, situated close to the beautiful Derwent valley and within walking distance of the town center. The basic amenities and facilities are good, and I especially appreciated the included breakfast, which was excellent with a variety of options.
Everything was great, no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of town, which is convenient to explore nearby cafes and shops. It's close to everything and has a few nice facilities, but it has a few downsides. It's adjacent to busy roads with heavy trucks making sleeping difficult, and it's a bit far to go to the pub or the Chinese for dinner. The room is OK, but the bathroom needs a thorough cleaning. The breakfast spread is meager and not very appetizing, and there was no view or natural light from the window.
The service was poor, and staff behavior was unprofessional, yelling at my wife over an additional charge at checkout.

The price was fair and affordable. The room had very efficient heating which was great for a winter romantic escape. The location was close to restaurants and grocery stores.
The decor in the courtyard was distracting and unappealing as it seemed like a yard sale. It was also noisy at night due to traffic sounds, making it hard to have a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere for a romantic night.

Spent Christmas at this motel and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy and unique decor of the room. The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of options and served in a fascinating room filled with antiques and rare objects. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations for nearby activities and locations. The location was also excellent, with easy access to local attractions and shops.
There was some traffic noise from passing trucks with air brakes, but it was not too disruptive. The room was a bit dated and cluttered, but it added to the charm and character of the motel.

My recent stay at Junction Motel And Function Centre was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped into the room, I was greeted with unique and quirky decor that added so much character to the space. The artwork on the walls was captivating and really created a vibrant and fun atmosphere. Despite being a budget motel, the room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. The continental breakfast included in the price was a great bonus, and I even indulged in the hot breakfast for exceptional value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to any budget-conscious traveler looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
