I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail in the unique and funky decor. The location was convenient, close to all conveniences, including a nearby pub and Chinese restaurant for dinner. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were well-appointed, with a different decoration in the bathroom and bedroom, and comfortable twin beds. The breakfast included in the rate was a bonus, with delicious homemade jam.
All was fine, no improvements needed.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of town, which is convenient to explore nearby cafes and shops. It's close to everything and has a few nice facilities, but it has a few downsides. It's adjacent to busy roads with heavy trucks making sleeping difficult, and it's a bit far to go to the pub or the Chinese for dinner. the room is OK, but the bathroom needs a thorough cleaning. the breakfast spread is meager and not very appetizing, and there was no view or natural light from the window.
The service was poor, and staff behavior was unprofessional, yelling at my wife over an additional charge at checkout.
