Junction Motel offers a quirky and artistic experience with unique decor and a collection of collectibles throughout. the rooms are clean, spacious , and comfortable. the host provides valuable recommendations for local attractions, enhancing your stay. A special treat, like chocolates, awaits in the rooms, contributing to a delightful ambience.

Parking is cramped. Some noise during the week.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail in the unique and funky decor. The location was convenient, close to all conveniences, including a nearby pub and Chinese restaurant for dinner. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were well-appointed, with a different decoration in the bathroom and bedroom, and comfortable twin beds. The breakfast included in the rate was a bonus, with delicious homemade jam.

All was fine, no improvements needed.

Conveniently located with several restaurants nearby, such as the quilted teapot just a 5-minute walk away. We were happy with our choice to stay here. 🍽️

This hotel is such a hidden gem, with its quirky and eclectic decor that makes it a truly unique stay. Everywhere you turn, there's something interesting to discover and learn about. The owner takes great pride in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making you feel right at home. The location is also perfect, situated close to the beautiful Derwent valley and within walking distance of the town center. The basic amenities and facilities are good, and I especially appreciated the included breakfast, which was excellent with a variety of options.

Everything was great, no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of town, which is convenient to explore nearby cafes and shops. It's close to everything and has a few nice facilities, but it has a few downsides. It's adjacent to busy roads with heavy trucks making sleeping difficult, and it's a bit far to go to the pub or the Chinese for dinner. the room is OK, but the bathroom needs a thorough cleaning. the breakfast spread is meager and not very appetizing, and there was no view or natural light from the window.

The service was poor, and staff behavior was unprofessional, yelling at my wife over an additional charge at checkout.
